"My mom was the biggest help and inspiration for me to keep me going and working hard"-Jackson Coggins, Student of the month.
We asked Coggins about his academics and we found out that his lowest grade is a 98 and he has a GPA of 4.5 and has been maintaining those same grades since the start of the school year.
We wanted to know what kept Jackson going and achieving the grades he want and he said "freshman year was the worst year I had ever had for academics, I failed all of my classes and ended the year with a 1.2 GPA, but because that had happen I really wanted to prove everyone wrong and better myself for my future". - Jackson Coggins
All of Jacksons friends, teachers and parents are very proud of what he has done and why he did it. Jacksons parents never have to tell him to do his work now, when he comes home he gets straight to it.
All of Jacksons teachers and friends had something to say about him, "Jackson saw that he was smart and that he had to just put in the time and effort"- Mr. Parente, "Since the start of the school i have never had him not turn in worksheet, or get a grade below a 90". - Mrs. Madden.
His friends also had some thing to say about his success, "every time I see Jackson he's always trying to figure out a problem or studying for some test, I am happy for him but I feel like it cuts into our free time to hangout".-Trey Elizondo
Jacksons mom is one of his biggest help she's always trying to make sure his grades are in line and getting him to school on time.
We wanted to personally ask Jackson about what he thinks of further extending his education and his response was "Currently i have the choice to go to 6 different colleges and they are Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Brown, The University of Texas, and Penn State.
We wanted to find out what Jackson would say to the younger kids in conclusion to him being such a good student, he said "Success is not an accident, it's hard work and dedication".
